Cool Kids!
Carter called the girls "rock stars" when they were wearing their shades! Oh, and Cooper is completely OVER the baby food thing, she ate 1/2 of Annabelle's Happy Meal for lunch yesterday! She's ready for a steak!
Annabelle's Hard Day!
Cooper's learning to walk!
Happy Birthday Daddy!
Jason's birthday was on Tuesday! We started the day by giving him a new pair of UGG slippers and some cards that all the big kids made! Unfortunately, I was REALLY sick with what looks to be walking pnuemonia! YIKES! Anyway, I think Jason enjoyed the cake and presents, and I know that the kids always love helping blow out candles!
Yes....
Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day! The kids enjoyed their parties at school, Jason got a new batch of cupcakes, and we all exchanged cards! Although, for Carter, it almost didn't happen! After the kids left for school, and were about 15 minutes down the road, YIKES, all 27 of Carter's Valentines were here, OOPS! Have no fear, I woke the baby up, jumped in the car and met Jason half-way so that he could deliver the cards to Carter. It would have broken his little heart had he not been able to hand out the cards!
Here is Annabelle enjoying a treat!!!!!!
Cupcakes and kids!
First, we had a nice day/evening with the Blaskovich clan! David (2 1/2) and Talleri (8 months) and their lovely parents came by for a visit, some food, and fun! Carter and David hit it off, and had fun playing trains and cars, while Talleri and Cooper got acquainted! Olivia was in heaven because there were 2 babies, and Annabelle...well, she was Annabelle without enough sleep, so she was quite the pill!
It was a fun evening, one that doesn't happen nearly enough! We are hoping to take the big kids into Chicago soon (when it finally gets warm) to visit their new friends and maybe make a trip to the zoo!!!!
Secondly, I (according to Jason) have found the best cupcake recipe out there! And, since they were such a hit with Jason and our friend Blask, I thought I'd share the recipe since Valentine's Day is just around the corner! So here it is! It's SUPER easy and turned out to be a crowd pleaser!
Red Velvet Cupcakes!

Valpo vs. Butler!!! Carter's first game!
Jason and Carter had an opportunity to attend the Valparaiso vs. Butler basketball game on Tuesday night! Thanks to Mr. Synder for the tickets (we hope that the people sitting in front of Carter can forgive the kicking of the chair) to Carter's first sporting event! And what better event to attend than a game at both his parent's alma mater!!!!! He was SO excited to be going by himself to the game with Daddy, and he talked about it all day yesterday! The only bad part was the Valpo had the lead the entire game and ended up losing to the Bulldogs!
Here are some pictures from the guys night out! Carter made sure to remind his sisters that he and Daddy would be "Home very late".
Cooper is growing up too fast!
It really seems like Cooper is growing up too fast. Maybe it's because she's such a sweet girl and is no trouble, maybe it's because of the "chaos" I like to call my other 3, but whatever, it is, it's all going by too fast for me.
She's now eating pancakes and anything you give her. Once she had a taste of McDonald's french fries, it has been hard to give her baby food (who could blame her?).
She's also trying to walk, run, go up the stairs, you name it, as long as she can catch the others. She is pretty much entertained by anything they do now. Again, this is all too fast for me...
