I got to see one of the COOLEST things ever yesterday, the hatching of sea turtles! They were in a nest on the beach and with some help from the "turtle people" they were pulled out and put out into the ocean. It was really luck that we were at the right place at the right time, but honestly, one of the coolest things I have ever seen!

Hey! I'm new to SITS so I thought I'd come say hi! I can't believe how small the sea turtles are. The only time I've ever seen baby sea turtles is on an episode of 'Clifford'. Haha.. BTW, you're kids are sooo stinkin' cute! Anyways, happy blogging!
Oh my goodness, that is SO cool!! My daughter would LOVE to see sea turtles hatching! Alas, we are near neither a sea or beach on which sea turtles live. It'll have to be a vacation goal for someday..... :D
Sorry to hear about all the germies that came with the end of vacation - my kiddo barfed in the car once and it took me HOURS (and most of a large bottle of Nature's Miracle plus the steam cleaner) to get the back seat area back to normal. I can't imagine if there had been more than one kid barfing back there, yuck!
